Newborn Session Details

Within 14 days of birth, ideally

Sessions take place at my beautiful and cozy studio located at 4250 Sunrise Hwy in Massapequa that is equipped with everything we need: warmth, a changing table, bottle warmer, boppy for nursing, bathroom, etc Alternatively, I can come to your home for a higher fee.  (Please note that some props do not travel and some setups cannot be achieved at an in-home session - inquire for details)

How

Initially, we set a tentative date based on your EDD.  But we know that babies can be born early or late, so I leave room in my schedule to accommodate. So you’ll call, text or email me when baby arrives and we’ll set the firm date and time for the session.

For optimal results, newborn sessions start no later than 12pm.  Please plan accordingly.

Newborn sessions take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Saturdays are very limited so if you know you absolutely need a Saturday please make sure you are booking about 5 - 6 months in advance.  


How long
About 2 - 3 hours for a typical newborn session, including stopping to feed/nurse, change and soothe as needed.

What
There isn't anything specific you need to bring except a well-fed baby.  I have all the props, blankets, hats, headbands you see on my site and I'm always adding to my selection.  

Who
Siblings are included in the session (as long as you haven't selected the baby only session option) as are Mom & Dad.  We typically photograph the family and siblings first and then work on baby alone for the remainder of the session.
